Welcome to Lydham Friday market! We are open every Friday except the one after Christmas, from 8.00am until 1.00pm.

We have approximately 20 stalls in total - some weekly, others monthly, a few of which include:

Paul Amess Fruit & Vegetables
An extensive range of delicious seasonal fresh fruit and vegetable, much of which is either grown locally by the proprietor or sourced from local suppliers. There is nowhere else in the Bishops Castle area which sells such wide selection of fruit and vegetables, you will nearly always find what you are looking for, and the prices are very competitive. There are also a selection of beautiful flowers and/or plants for sale, again most of which are grown by Paul himself. Paul also takes orders for fruit and vegetables if you wish to request anything special, and offers a home delivery service to those who need assistance. Paul, Anne, Linda and Sally-Ann from the stall look forward to seeing you.

Mr Bun the Baker
A wide range of delicious breads, cakes and buns, all of which are baked locally by the proprietor. Again, there is nowhere else in Bishops Castle which offers such a wide choice of bread and cakes. Warren on the stall is also happy to accept bread orders if you have any special requests or require regular or large quantities.

Sue
Sue offers a tantalising selection of unusual ethnic products from around the world including beautiful hand crafted clothes and gifts. South American natural wool cardigans and tops, gorgeous vibrant long skirts, dresses, trousers, cosy socks and slipper shoes, shirts, scarves and gloves - of all colours, styles and textures. Sue has a selection of unique cards, many of which have been designed by herself. She sells a wide range of traditional and fascinating toys, plus incense, jewellery, crystals

Nicks plant stall
Nick runs a plant stall outside the entrance to the market, through most of the late spring, summer and autumn months. Also around christmas time with wreaths and real trees He sells a wide variety of homegrown plants and shrubs and bedding for all gardening enthusiasts, and always has a smile.

Wonderful Cheese Company
Run the cheese stall he has a wide variety of cheesesA very good stall to have worth a look!!!

Sheila
Sheila and her son run the knitted clothing stall, with lots of jumpers, cardigans, hats etc in all sorts of colours and styles

Norman Jones
From bishops castle with electrical sales servicing spares you can drop off and collect any serviced items very use full indeed

Meat stalls
We got two meat stall selling home produced meats and home made sausage local too. Plus a Salami stall.

Please don't forget local lady, Carol who operates in the hall kitchen selling cakes pastries cottage pies and you can have a sit down for a hot drink and a bacon bap or any other bap !!
