The BIGLITTLE Theatre School was co-founded in 1996 by Michelle Guy & Colin Billing and is now regarded as the South’s most respected acting and musical theatre school.

The company is non-profit organisation and based in Bournemouth, Dorset. It now boasts a company of over 300 talented students between 3 and 19 and has attracted a highly qualified team of professional staff and directors, some of whom bring their expertise directly from the West End.

An excellent reputation has been earned in the local and professional theatre world and good associations are maintained with London stage schools, celebrities and children’s charities for which the school has helped raise considerable sums of money.

Higher levels of excellence are achieved every year with numbers limited to maintain the high standard of teaching.

Michelle Guy – Principal (BIGLITTLE Theatre School)
Michelle began training in drama and dance in Sydney. On returning to the U.K., Michelle continued to train and also competed in Latin American and Ballroom dancing following which she graduated from Exeter University, majoring in Theatre Arts & Education. Performance & Directing contracts have included SAK Theatre Florida – Epcot Centre, Disney World, State Renaissance Festivals, & World Expo in New Orleans. Locally, Michelle has held the positions of Head of Drama at Bitterne Park & St. Thomas Garnet Schools and then went on to found ‘Guy’s School of Performing Arts’. BIGLITTLE Theatre was co-founded with Colin Billing in 1996 and Michelle has dedicated herself to the development of the school and the students. Michelle is an associate of LAMDA, NLP Practitioner & has participated in several workshops with REAL Education, Brisbane, Australia.
