I have worked casually as an antique furniture restorer whilst studying for my degree in History, and am now dedicating my time fully to the both challenging and rewarding trade.

I am able to offer re-finishing of antique furniture, basic repairs and advice. Every piece I work on is treated with the utmost care and delicacy, and is finished to the highest standard.

Have a chair with a broken leg, or a table which just doesn't shine like it used to? I can offer free consultations on your piece at your home, give you an estimate price of restoration and chat about any queries you have.

If your piece is past my skill-level I will say so, as I would not feel comfortable restoring a piece which I knew I could not give the deserved workmanship to. However, if this is the case, I can direct your search to someone who can.

I have worked with Michael Goater for three years, both between university terms and after. An excellent restorer and BAFRA member, Michael has worked with antique furniture for much longer than I, and would be able to offer advice on more serious and technical jobs.
