Bells Gym is a unique 1 on 1 and class based boxing & fitness facility situated in the heart of Altrincham.
Stevie Bell, owner of Bells Gym started his boxing career at the age 13 and fell in love with the sport immediately. His ambition was to win a National senior title as an amateur and to box for his country after watching the Barcelona Olympics in 92. He finally achieved his ambition when in 1997 at the age of 21, Steve won his very first National senior Amateur Boxing title at Featherweight, winning every fight by stoppage.

He was then selected to represent his country shortly after in a multi nations tournament in Athens, Greece and stamped his authority on the national scene competing all over the world in tournaments such as the Commonwealth games and World Championships.

Described as one of Englands finest amateurs, Steve competed in over 150 amateur bouts, including 35 internationals and was awarded the role of England Team captain at the Manchester Commonwealth Games 2002.

Steve moved over to the Professional ranks as a Super Featherweight under the guidance of promoter Frank Warren. He recorded a 23 fight career with only 3 defeats, winning the Central area title on his way defeating the likes of former British Champion Jamie Mckeever and Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist, Haider Ali.

Steve has also built a strong acting career appearing in a feature film and numerous television roles including Shameless, Hollyoaks and his most renowned role in Coronation Street as Gary Windass soldier friend 'Quinny'
