We are a family run, mobile wood-fired pizza business from Birmingham. After watching the street food scene grow in the UK, the idea to begin our own wood-fired pizza business began by Mike Evans, who has worked in the catering industry for over thirty years.

Mike has worked at senior management level for a nationwide household pizza restaurant chain, as part of The Restaurant Group for over ten years, and more recently as Operations Director for a national fast food company. Mike’s knowledge of the industry, as well as his professionalism has lead him to go it alone and begin Bare Bones Pizza. Bringing a professional and reliable service, married with top quality ingredients to deliver an outstanding product, giving us a business model destined for success.

Joining Mike on this venture is his son Tim, a self styled ‘pizza expert’ who has eaten his weight in Pizza many times over in his 25 years. Tim has a background in Marketing. Tim has been a great asset to the company, selflessly putting himself forward to go to as many different street events as he can, sampling everything in sight.

Operating out of converted Citroen Relay we are available for street food events, corporate events, weddings, private parties and everything in-between. If we can get the van there, we can work it. We can cater for up to 1000 people with our authentic Italian styled pizza.
