Badshoes Film 1.33

Award winning narrative, documentary and experimental filmmaker based in Leicester. I run my own production company called Badshoes Film and have been creating films shown in film festivals all over the world since 1997.

My work includes working on my own film projects winning the 2003 Silver Award and 2005 Audience Choice Award at the Leicester International Short Film Festival, Film of the Year 2014 with Seven / Five Productions and Best in Festival at The Short Cinema 2016.

I also work with community organisations, learning institutions, local authorities, national organisation commissions across the UK, corporate and community clients; assembling full film production crews for independent cinema, documentaries, event coverage, community groups, abstract visuals for live mixing, corporate films and experimental installations or working as an individual filmmaker.

I am a fully DBS checked teacher of film theory and practice at PQA Leicester winning four awards as producer / teacher of students work including the 2012 & 2014 Empire Film Festivals and 2015 Into Film Best Film by Under 12's category both screened at the Empire Cinema in Leicester Square. I also teach film production and theory with community groups and learning institutions across the UK.

I also co-founded and organise Seven / Five Productions a filmmakers network with over 100 members designed to create and facilitate a viable network for individuals involved in film production, increase film production and exhibition and provide training and development opportunities. This group meets every week at Phoenix Square.
