Automated Environmental Systems, or AES as many of our customers know us, was originally formed back in 2007, at the time Oliver, one of our owners, had identified a gap in the market for the sale of pumps and pumping equipment on the Internet and so the company was born.

Jump forward ten years and we now offer hundreds of products to customers across the UK and Europe.

The owners of the business, Oliver and Simon, have many years of industry experience between them. Oliver has nearly 30 years experience in pumps and pumping stations and Simon has over 15 years experience in water technology, in particular, Simon has an in-depth knowledge of swimming pool pumps, filtration and heat pumps.

We are able to source a vast range of pumps from most major manufacturers, catering for every need, from a simple sump pump weighing a few kilos that can be used to remove unwanted water from a garden or basement to industrial pumps weighing many hundreds of kilos that can pump thousands of litres an hour.

The fastest growing area of our business is swimming pool equipment, specifically swimming pool heat pumps. Simon’s knowledge and expertise has helped many of our customers find heating solutions for their pools, a heat pump can save you up to 80% on the cost of heating your pool compared with traditional methods such as gas boilers.
