The practice was founded by David Wadsworth in 1974 and his ethos of doing his best to help your pets has been taken up and enhanced by the veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses who work with him in the practice.

We pride ourselves on providing common sense , honest professional veterinary services. We want to work with you to provide the best possible care for your pet in wherever possible a stress free environment aided by our very friendly and helpful staff.

Andrew Mellor now leads the team and is passionate about surgery and keeps up to date with anaesthetic, analgesic and surgical techniques to be able to offer far more advanced surgeries than would normally be possible outside a specialist referrral centre.
He likes to use local anaesthetic techniques where possible so that the risk of full anaesthetic can be avoided when not really necessary.
