I hold a first class honours degree in Nutritional Therapy (BSc Honours) obtained at the College of Nutrition, Environment and Lifestyle Management (CNELM), accredited through Middlesex University. I am a full member of the British Association of Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) the UK’s professional body for nutritional therapists and those working in the nutrition profession. I am registered with the CNHC – the national voluntary regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners and am an associate member of the Royal Society of Medicine.
My approach is derived from functional medicine, meaning I seek to discover the root cause behind a health condition, rather than tackling each symptom individually. I work on the basis that every single human being is different, from our genetic make-up to our health and diet histories and as such my clients receive a totally personalised service, tailored specifically to their personal health goals. I am dedicated to evidence-based nutritional medicine and therefore every recommendation I make is backed by scientific research.
