At the 2013 Parade, we portrayed some of the different types of horses and activities that the Kings and Queens of England would have enjoyed.
The Iberian Horses was the breed of horse that the Kings of England would have ridden. Charles I for instance. They made excellent horses in the battle field.
We had a team of fine ladies riding side-saddle as the Queen would have ridden until recently.
The Royal children would have been brought up on ponies, hence the Miniatures.
Olympia Quadrille Champions from Moat View represented the fine Carousels that would have been performed in front of the Kings and Queens.
The Royal Court would have been entertained by the Jousters also training for battle.
We had a pony and cart such as would have brought the vegetables from the gardens to the Royal Kitchens.
We were indeed 'All the Queen's Horses'.
