Stuck in a rut? Feel you need help but don’t know where to start?

After 25yrs of struggling with my own riding demons & constantly wondering why it didn't turn out like the book says it should, I have finally found a balance between good communication, common sense & quality feedback which helps me get to the nitty gritty of horse & rider issues. Whether it’s physical, emotional or both, if there's a symptom there's a cause. Find the cause & you can start to solve the problem. Taking courses & inspiration from Mary Wanless, Jon Pitts & Danielle Olding I have learnt the value of recognising & using individual learning styles to aid rapport & see the world through my clients eyes. I have the ability to wear many hats & speak various languages from teenager, to anxious jumper, grumpy child (who won't listen to mum!) to exam nerves gobble-di-gook.

My aching ageing body, stiff & inflexible from years of falling off was relieved when I discovered Pilates & now a level 3 fitness coach, spin & Pilates instructor I'm motivated to help others that are also 'fixed' in a position relating to not only their riding style, but also to their lifestyle. We all wish we could take a pill that would make us thinner, fitter, better riders. Believe me; I'd be first in the queue! But as far as I'm aware we're last on the list so it all boils down to good old fashioned sweat & tears.

From a non horsey, non sporty background & a lover of far too much Burrow Hill cider & chilli heatwave Doritos, I fight the cause every day alongside my customers, constantly learning new ways that might not have worked for me, but might very well work for them. As time goes by our book of knowledge about us & our horses grows, leading to new found confidence, & confidence opens doors to new challenges. It's my aim as a coach to give the rider the right tools & enough knowledge to be confident in their own ability to recognise the symptom, find the cause & solve the problem...themselves.
