Hi, my name's Adam and I teach drums at my home studio in Dunfermline or if you prefer I can come to you and you can learn in the comfort of your own home.

In the studio I teach on a Roland TD-10 Electronic kit and I have several acoustic kits available to use within reasonable hours. I teach all styles and disciplines and can also teach music theory if you wish to expand your abilities as an all-round musician. I have a piano, bass and several guitars in the studio as well as some other various percussion, so if you want to learn the basics of another instrument then I'm happy to show you. It's always useful to have a basic understanding of how other musicians think and work if you want to play in a band and/or create music of your own.

I'm happy to take on students of any age and ability and if you're studying music at high school I can take you through the various course work required and any grades 1-8 should you wish to do so but if not, we can just learn your favourite songs and have fun. I've been playing professionally for over 10 years now with various well known local original and cover bands and teaching for more than 6 years with Yamaha music schools across Scotland.

Your first lesson will be free so I can get to know a little bit about you, you can get to know a little bit about me, I can find out what kind of music you're in to, what you want to achieve from the lessons, assess what standard of ability you're at and of course, run you through the basics of drumming if you're a beginner. I make a mean cup of tea as well.

Lessons are £25 per hour or £15 per half hour in the studio but I may have to charge a small amount extra to cover for travel expenses if you would like me to travel to you.
