Hi my name is Zoe Young I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2009 but have worked in practice since 2005. Several years ago I completed a Certificate in Feline Friendly Nursing and can now be found on the International Cat Care website listed as a Feline Friendly Nurse. I have always had a passion for saving animals since I was a little girl and started rescuing and rehoming kittens 10 years ago when I started working in Vet Practice. Over the years I have worked with hundreds of cats both domestic and feral. Rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming those without homes and capturing feral colonies and organising for them to be neutered and released again as appropriate to keep the feline population under control. Anyone who knows me will tell you I have a real passion for the Feline species. Many describe me as the crazy cat lady!! Or perhaps just crazy as on many occasions I have taken other animals home including stray ferrets, chinchillas and orphaned baby birds! My aim now that I have built my luxury chalet is to become a non profit organisation or charity to enable me to organise official fundraising events to help with the expenses of looking after the animals that come into my care.
