430 Squadron ATC 2.95

We are a squadron comprising around 40 cadets, both male and female, between the ages of 13 and 18, based at Moorcroft Street Droylsden, parading on Mondays and Fridays between 19:00 and 21:30 (7pm to 9:30pm).

Our Squadron provides training and experience in a wide range of areas from flying and gliding to map reading and first aid, together with formal training/education opportunities (DofE & BTEC) coupled with community-based activities and fund raising such as poppy sales and "bag packing" at retail outlets.

Squadron activities are not limited to parade nights - weekend training with team- and confidence-building exercises, camps, a range of sports, and overseas visits to historical sites are all opportunities available for cadets to be involved in.
