TAJ 泰姬印度餐廳 Indian Restaurant 5.03

TAJ，印度話為「皇冠」之意，也是取自伊斯蘭著名建築物—＂泰姬＂瑪哈陵（Taj mahal）的拼音。

「TAJ 印度餐廳」，是由來自巴基斯坦的拉納•阿敏，與其穆斯林作家妻子亞瑟蘭，所共同打造的印度料理天地，所有廚師皆由印度禮聘而來；由於信奉印度教的印度廚師不食牛肉，而信奉伊斯蘭的經營者與部分穆斯林廚師不食豬肉，因此，與印度國內大部分餐廳一樣，TAJ印度餐廳僅提供雞、羊、海鮮三種主食，以及各式傳統的印度素食料理。

除了道地的印度特色外，TAJ印度餐廳也是台灣目前少數通過「清真認證」的餐廳之一，所有餐食對於穆斯林均為Halal(合法的)，並由於經營者強烈的人文性格，TAJ經常舉辦與贊助各式相關藝文講座，讓TAJ印度餐廳除了咖哩香外，也經常飄散濃厚的書香與心靈宴饗的馨香。

TAJ印度餐廳主題強烈、特色鮮明，是印度商務人士、穆斯林團體來台時，尋找家的味道的好地方。

TAJ Indian Restaurant is founded by Rana Amin from Pakistan and his wife Asrah, a Muslim writer.
Our chefs are all hired from India. Thus, due to Hindu traditions and Islamic regulations, as with most of the restaurants in India, TAJ Indian Restaurant offers only chicken, mutton, seafood, and all kinds of traditional Indian vegetarian dishes.

In addition to authentic Indian specialties, TAJ Indian Restaurant is one of the few restaurants in Taiwan that is granted "Halal Certification." All of the meals are Halal (lawful) for Muslims.

Also, TAJ often holds and sponsors a variety of arts-related seminars.
