未來請柬 2.57

自二戰結束後，萬物像是找到了另一個初始，以驚人且不可被計算的速度成長；其間所帶動的社會變革、經濟模式，以及思想脈絡的進程，隱匿在日常的資訊爆炸當中。相較於二戰後的現代世界生活，「未來」對那個時間點的人而言，儘管前景充滿荊棘，但也充滿無限可能，並抱持著理想性與樂觀情緒重建文明。如今「未來」似遠還近，總有些許「末世」的擔憂在當下的世界中瀰漫。「未來請柬」即是要捕捉此時間性與速度共振下的世界，並對人們發出邀請，進入這當下未來曖昧難分、無所不在的境況，爬梳發生在裡面的歷史痕跡。展覽挑選出八個議題（人工自然、歷史幽靈、移工與全球境遇、未來食物、混種、性別平權、病菌與科技的戰爭、數位與信仰），邀請藝術家莊普、吳天章、陳永賢團隊、吳梓寧、黃贊倫、曾怡馨、陳依純與羅禾淋等，叩問一個重要的問題：「我們所期待的是可預期的未來，或只是在等待下一個循環的過去？」「未來請柬」邀請觀眾進入人類正面臨的未來現實與想像，並感受這種紛亂，問正確的問題，而最終有所回應或行動。

From the end of World War II, it is as if all beings have uncovered a new beginning, and it is flourishing in astonishingly rapid and incalculable pace.
The war had ceased, but all progress never did; amidst all, social reform, economic models and advancement in thinking stay disguised within the
everyday information explosion.
“The Future Invitation” aims to capture time’s temporality and the world under the speed of resonance. It invites people to delve into the moment
when future stays ambiguous and pervasive, and figure out the traces of history within. The exhibition selects eight current issues- “Nature and
Culture”, “Phantom of History”, “Migrant Workers and Global Position”, “Food of the Future”, “Hybridity”, “Gender Equality”, “The War of Pathogen
and Technology”, “Digitization and Faith”, and invites artists such as Tsong Pu, Wu Tien-Chang, Chen Yung-Hsien and his team, Wu Tzu-Ning, Huang
Zan-Lun, Tzeng Yi-Hsin, Chen I-Chun, Luo He-Lin to create and exhibit. A pregnant question is examined, “Do we anticipate a certain future or are we
simply waiting for a repeated past?” “The Future Invitation” invites viewers to confront the reality and imagination of the future, and to immerse themselves in the turmoil to eventually acknowledge with a response or an action by asking the right question.
