The Myrtle Beach Drift staff would like to welcome you to the 2013 season. With your help we would like to make this years series BIGGER and the best one we have yet! We have made a good bit of changes to our Drift Series this year in order to make it so it is the MOST exciting weekend in your month. The biggest change would be that we have an official rule book that outlines everything We have restructured the way we do just about everything from track rules to how we JUDGE. This way we cure all of the concerns over clipping points, spinouts, and why you did or didn’t win. We are also going to do competitions every other month instead of every month. So this year it will be one month practice then competition, the next month will be just practice you can check our event dates page to see what is going on when. If you come on a competition day this does not mean you have got to compete if you do not feel you are ready, you can just come for the seat time during the practice sessions. Remember we are just trying to provide YOU a safe place to learn how to drift, in a controlled environment. We know that no one can jump in a car and know how to drift but we have a great crowd of people who will go out of there way to help you in just about in anyway. The Myrtle Beach Speedway and MBDrift do not condone negative, threatening or violent conversation or behavior, and if you do not respect and follow our rules you will be asked to leave the premises immediately without refund. The management and staff have worked vigilantly to create a fun and exciting family atmosphere where drivers and spectators alike can learn the benefits and rewards that come from a racing community and will do what needs to be done in order to protect those rights.

Also, safety is one of the most important aspects of our events and those who do not follow the rules and regulations set forth in the drivers meetings and in our handbook will be subject to exclusion or ejection from the track. Thank you for understanding and we hope you have fun!
