Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Istanbul 3.97

Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Istanbul is established on April 2016 in Ortakoy with 100 m2 mat area. It is the first & only Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Certified Training Center in Turkey.

Baris Dokur (born in 1983) is a purple belt Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner and Certified Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Instructor. He has a bachelor’s degree from Near East University on Physical Education and Sports Teaching. Baris started training Jiu-Jitsu in 2008 with Brasa Team. In 2011 he joined a local team in Istanbul and started teaching Jiu-Jitsu as an assistant coach. He earned his purple belt in 2013 and won his first bronze medal as an ultra-heavy competitor at IBJJF European Championship in Portugal on January 2013. Following this year on October he earn a gold medal on the super heavy category at IBJJF London Open Jiu-Jitsu Championship. He went to Brazil and trained in several schools in 2013. In 2014 May, he won a bronze medal on super heavy, silver medal on open weight and a gold medal on No-Gi at IBJJF Copenhagen Open Jiu-Jitsu Championship. Same year in June he won a gold medal on super heavy from IBJJF Paris Open Jiu-Jitsu Championship.
He trains Gracie Jiu-Jitsu since 2014 and on July 2015, he is tested by Rener Gracie in Torrance Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy and earn his certification as Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Instructor.
