The airport is leased to TAV Airports for 25 years until May 2034. Airport construction was completed in 1999, offering a passenger capacity of 500,000 per year, covering 2,144 square meters; Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport is one of the most important strategic facilities within the region. Having Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport scaled up to 3C category in 2010, TAV Airports Holding aims to utilize its experiences and knowledge in the airport operation business to create and develop boutique airports and create new international flight destinations. Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport is expected to become an international center serving Alanya and its surrounding area.
