Treetop Country 3.28

Treetop Country is a project that was founded by Allan Lim and the world renowned Thai chef, Sasi Meechai. It is located in the beautiful district, Wiang Pa Pao, in Chiang Rai province.

The reason the project is named Treetop Country is because when volunteers and backpackers come to stay with us they will be living in little houses that sit atop wooden and bamboo foundations!

While staying with us, there are opportunities for you to volunteer at local schools for underprivileged children, work on our organic farming project, and to help with the construction of community institutions for the village. If you're not interested in volunteering, we're still happy to have you stay with us and we'll show you around the north of Thailand!

Our project is equipped with local and international staff on site, a tour guide/driver to help you get around, and knowledge of the territory and all of it's hidden gems that you can't find in tourist handbooks.

Treetop Country provides the most authentic travel experience that Thailand has to offer, as you'll be living in a real Thai village and you'll be working and interacting with both local villagers and international travellers. You'll be contributing to the growth and well-being of the local community, while also having the experience of a lifetime.
