THE RESTAURANT

“Leo&Mas” provides you the finest selection of traditional Italian recipes: pasta… sure enough! Spaghetti, ravioli, gnocchi and lasagna. In addition, risotto, bruschetta, wood fired oven pizza; Italian and Australian meat main courses, and fresh fish main courses.

And to go out in style, tempting desserts, liquors, and the inevitable espresso.

All the proper ingredients are imported from Italy, as well as the wide choice of excellent red and white wines.

You will be greeted in a calmness oasis, only 50 mts from seaside, and 10 minutes walk from the evening movida.

Whether you prefer the cool air conditioned of the inner hall, or the mild breeze of the romantic outdoor, the chef, the pizza maker and the manager (all Italians) are waiting to give you a warm welcome.

THE STORY

Leonida, the owner of “Leo&Mas”, is a very lively man, fond of fine food, passionate about the sea, enthusiastic, hardworking and always creating new projects.
He landed in Thailand for the first time more than 30 years ago, and he immediately fell in love with it, so much so that he decided to go back there every year.

Massimo, the chef, native of Veneto too, introduced his cooking to 5-Stars Hotels all over the world, before choosing Phuket as his home.

It was just in this welcoming country that they met. The creation of “Leo&Mas” was the natural outcome of their meeting, thanks to their common passion for good food, to their shared origin and to the country that they both adopted.

Their restaurant is a tribute to the genuine tradition of Italian generosity, therefore it’s dedicated to everybody: to Italian people, longing to find “home” far from home, to foreigners wishing to enjoy authentic Italian cooking and to anyone who, like Leonida and Massimo, want to stay close to their roots, while at the same time looking at far horizons.




IL RISTORANTE

“Leo&Mas” vi offre la miglior selezione di piatti della cucina tradizionale italiana: pasta… naturalmente! Spaghetti, ravioli, gnocchi e lasagne. E poi risotti, bruschette, pizze cotte nel forno a legna; secondi di carne, italiana e australiana, e di pesce, solo se fresco.

E per finire in bellezza, golosi desserts, liquori, e l’immancabile espresso.

Tutti gli ingredienti tipici sono importati dall’Italia, così come l’ampia scelta di ottimi vini, rossi e bianchi.

Sarete accolti in un’oasi di tranquillità, a soli 50 mt dal mare, e a 10 minuti a piedi dalla movida serale.

Sia che preferiate la fresca aria condizionata della confortevole sala interna, o la piacevole brezza del romantico outdoor, lo chef, il piazzaiolo e il manager (tutti italiani) vi aspettano per darvi il benvenuto.

LA STORIA

Leonida, il titolare di “Leo&Mas”, è un uomo pieno di energia, instancabile ed entusiasta realizzatore di progetti, amante della buona cucina e del mare. Quando più di 30 anni fa è approdato in Thailandia per la prima volta se n’è subito innamorato, al punto da volervi tornare ogni anno.

Massimo, lo chef, anch’egli nativo del Veneto, ha portato la sua cucina per vent’anni negli alberghi a 5 stelle di tutto il mondo, per poi scegliere Phuket come la sua casa.

Ed è stato proprio in questo accogliente Paese che Leonida e Massimo si sono incontrati; da qui alla nascita di “Leo&Mas” il passo è stato spontaneo, uniti come sono dalla comune passione per il cibo, la terra d’origine e quella di elezione.

Il loro ristorante è un omaggio alla miglior tradizione di generosità italiana, ed è quindi è dedicato a tutti: agli italiani che vogliono ritrovare un po’ di casa lontano da casa; agli stranieri che vogliono gustare l’autentica cucina italiana; e anche a tutte le persone che, come loro, portano nel cuore le loro radici pur spingendo lo sguardo verso orizzonti lontani.
