Laem Son Kite Surf School - Klaeng, Rayong 4.22

This is a group of kiteboarding fanatics sharing their passion for the world's fastest growing sport. Members from all walks of life, ranging from juniors to grandfathers, gather at Laem Son beach where the wide, open, shallow waters are ideal for all competency levels. Local qualified Instructors can be contacted independently (Pichit 089 966 9555 or Toom 081 575 8849) and provide lessons and equipment sales. New members are encouraged to join this informal group, sharing the club facilities which includes maintained toilets, showers, air compressor for inflating kites, social activities, club T shirts etc. Local restaurants at the beach sell local food and beverages. Part of the club's charter is to rejuvenate the foreshore and clean and maintain the beach in its allocated beachfront area.
Hat Laem Som is just over 2 hours south east of Bangkok, with many accommodation options available at nearby Laem Mae Phim.
