GOOD MORNING CHIANGRAI offers a cosy homestay for families and low-budget travelers who like to stay overnight in a budget-friendly & hostel setting.

Enjoy your overnight stay in one of our small dorm rooms, which all are fan-facilitated, have in-room lockers and thick and soft, top-quality single-sized comfortable sleeping matrasses on the ground, shared bathroom with western toilet and hot shower, and free use of wifi, towel and coffee and tea in the morning.

Upstairs we have a sabai sabai living room with cushions and pillows, where you can relax and enjoy some time together, by just reading a book, checking your smartphone, playing a common Thai game, talking with your fellow travellers, playing the guitar or meeting new peeps. Outside, we just opened up a natural garden with hammocks (since October 2017)... just around the corner.

Any bookings go along with free wifi, free use of a personal locker, free towel use during your stay, free parking space, and in high season (from the beginning of November until the end of February) breakfast is available.

Trips and tours are available at the reception. Cultural city trips to the White Temple, Blue Temple and Black House (1/2 - 1 day).
Participation/volunteer/sightseeing trips to Elephant Valley or Kahliang Elephant Camp, both volunteering locations for nursing elephants (1/2 - 1 day).
Natural jungle trekking tours (1-3 days with overnight stay in the jungle).
Cultural sightseeing tours with 4xD pick-ups through the mountains and steep hills along many hilltribe villages in the province (1 day).
Trips to Laos, including bus trip to Chiang Khong(1/2 day), border crossing at Huai Xai, Laos (1 night), and slow boat trip to Luang Prabang (2 days).
Volunteering programs in an Akha hilltribe in the mountains (1 week or longer).

We also offer thai cooking classes; we do local shoppings at the daily fresh market and teach you how to cook several thai dishes, after which we have lunch together and enjoy the taste of your own creation :-)

We are located in downtown Chiangrai, a little bit away from the busy main street on a quiet spot in the middle of the center, on Yedyot Road (address: Phahonyothin Road no. 897/19; just along the big parking spot behind the TMB bank office, 3 doors away from the Hangover bar), 2 minutes away walking from all popular bars, tour offices and massage shops, 5 minutes away walking from the well-known Chiangrai Night Bazaar, bus station no. 1, and the famous Golden Clock Tower, which lights up in different colours every evening at 7, 8 and 9 pm and which was a cultural gift from the artist and owner of the Wat Rong Khun to the city of Chiang Rai. On Saturday night the city has got its own Saturday Night Walking Street and on Sunday a differently located Sunday Market, which are both 10 minutes walking.
