What’s a day without good hawker food?
A bowl of wanton noodles is a commonplace food item found everywhere in Singapore - food centres, hawker stalls, even along roadside stalls in Malaysia, China, Hong Kong.. It is a Cantonese dish by origin!
Yap Kee is a family business and this name could not have been any more common as many shops adopt this name. What makes us special is the flavour of our egg noodles and our specially-marinated wantons and dumplings.
Yap Kee Noodles (Singapore version) has been running for more than a decade since 2003. Our humble beginning came from being at a 'coffeeshop', and we have marked our presence in the past at various locations around in Singapore such as Jurong East, Bukit Gombak, Holland Drive, and Clementi. We have had the honour of clinching a ‘Top Ten’ award in the Wanton Noodles category in the City Hawker Food Hunt 2011, and hope that we continue to provide cheap and good noodles to our customers.
Yap Kee (Singapore) exists today thanks to a relative in Malaysia who has been building his ‘flying noodle’ empire since 1990.
