The Tinker Yard is a space that truly belongs to children. This is where children feel safe, develop strong, secure & trusting relationships and know that their ideas & thoughts are important and valuable. Our play leaders aim to give children a space where they can discover, embrace & build upon their natural strengths through authentic play experiences.

Learning is never static at the studio. At The Tinker Yard, we encourage children to wonder, question, predict, investigate & experiment. We hold a strong view that children are capable & competent learners. Children take the lead here. Curriculum is framed around big ideas that children have. Our play leaders carefully observe children at play and use those observations to facilitate learning.
