REC's integrated solar production facility in Tuas, Singapore was officially opened by Prime Minister Lee on November 3, 2010. It is the largest clean tech investment ever made in Singapore at 2.5 billion Singapore dollars (about EUR 1.3 billion).
The Singapore facility will have a expected capacity of 740 MW of Wafers, 550 MW of Cells and 590 MW of Modules. It is expected that it will employ about 1350 people.
