Project Nepal 2017 by Lovepal 2.27

This August, 30 self-funded volunteers from all walks of life will be coming together for one objective - raise fund for the construction of 5 classrooms for Pal Ewam Namgon Nunnery School located in the remote city of Pokhara - Nepal.

LovePal is a non-profit / non-religious neutral organization created by volunteers for volunteers.

This is the third project that Lovepal volunteers has done in Nepal. Every project has a new team, new volunteers but same old common goal: To promote volunteerism and leave behind footprints of kindness.

Pal Ewam Namgon Nunnery School was established in 2010 with the objective to give a secular and modern education to the girls who are derived of learning opportunities due to social gender inequality. Due to the harsh winter in Upper Mustang, the winter session are held in Pokhara which makes a more suitable location for education.

Last year, the dormitory was completed. This year, the school will see proper classrooms for the girls. No more classes held in bedrooms.
