NTU Tamil Literary Society 3.07

The Nanyang Technological University Tamil Literary Society (NTU TLS) is a student organisation with the following main objectives:
• To develop and understand Tamil cultural & literary values amongst the youth in NTU
• To act as a platform for interaction amongst the Tamil community with the other communities of NTU

NTU TLS is a young vibrant Society which was started back in 2010 with the main aim of celebrating our very own Tamil language and also to promotes the literature part of our language in various ways, especially among the young. The organisation strongly believes that the language needs to be effectively promoted among the Tamil community through various Key Events that are conducted Every year.

NTU Tamil Literary Society is very well known throughout Singapore for it's biennial student production, 'Uthraa'. This mega production aims to bring out the talents of NTU youth. The main objective of this production is to promote the Tamil language appreciate the Tamil Literature through performing arts and to encourage young talents in the Tamil theatre scene.
