NTU Piano Ensemble 2.3

Since its establishment in 2002, NTU Piano Ensemble has engaged many piano enthusiasts in the university. The members have the chance to not only play solo pieces, but also perform duet and two-piano works from different eras.

The Piano Ensemble has performed in numerous concerts halls such as Esplanade Recital Studio, Lee Foundation Theatre, Jubilee Concert Hall, and NTU's own Nanyang Auditorium. The annual concert, Eleganza, has received warm welcome from the audience since its debut in 2005.

The Piano Ensemble's activities are also directed towards the community, embracing the spirit of serving the society as an ensemble. It performed at Alexandra Hospital and nursing homes, where the pianists were exposed to an environment for them to cultivate a heart towards the community.

NTU Piano Ensemble's vision is to bring piano music to greater heights and to promote the appreciation of music to NTU students and the general public. Its weekly meeting includes teaching and sharing sessions, masterclasses, and preparation for upcoming concerts.
