Nanyang Primary School Parent-Teacher Association 2.93

The NYPS-PTA was first initiated in 1987, and formally registered as a society in 1993.
Its objectives (as outlined in the Constitution - amended 8 June 2011) are as follow:
1. To develop and promote better relationship, understanding and cooperation between the parents and teachers through social activities and interactions;
2. To provide opportunities for parents to volunteer, share or contribute their services, knowledge, expertise or time to the School for the benefit of the pupils;
3. To assist, support and give financial donations to the School for the development, improvement or activities of the School for the benefit of the pupils;
4. To organise seminars, workshops, lectures, meetings or exhibitions for the benefit of its Members;
