Modular Studios at Goodman Arts Centre 2.02

The artist studios are connected by a central double volume atrium space, designed for workshop, event and gallery use. When ready, the studios and central atrium will be available for hire to the arts community. The space is intended to facilitate public engagement with the arts, as well as collaboration amongst artists & arts groups.

The structure is designed with a sustainable focus. It will be constructed with 26 x 40ft recycled shipping containers, landscaped with vertical greenery, and orientated for passive lighting and natural ventilation. The rooftop solar panels and a rainwater harvesting tank will reduce the buildings energy and water consumption.
