Las Lilas School 4.22

Las Lilas School, founded in July 2005, is the first and only school in Singapore to be exclusively focused on the teaching and spreading of the beautiful Spanish language and all the cultures that it comprises.

Located in the heart of the city, the school's friendly environment encourages an interactive and hands-on learning. That means that grammar is covered as much as possible by using practical / real-world situations, so speaking and actively using the language is crucial. Our aim is to teach our students how to communicate effectively and naturally in Spanish.

Las Lilas Kids is the little child of Las Lilas School. Our pedagogy with kids focuses on the experimentation, that is to say, we focus on action and doing. Our students are always the main protagonists of the teaching-learning process and thus all the topics we choose revolve around their experiential world.

At Las Lilas Kids we want to bring Spanish and its attached cultures closer to the youngest ones in a recreational way; we also aim at boosting it by means of a wide range of educational techniques and activities.

The teacher, on the other hand, is a facilitator that provides the means for the children to reach the objectives fixed. Our teachers keep at all times in mind the autonomy and personal initiative of the child, key elements in his/her development since they contribute to make him/her capable to express him/herself with confidence when facing different situations and they depend greatly on his/her language competence.
