Fondly known as ‘chee cheong kai’ in Cantonese which means starch factory street back in 1870s. Petaling Street has since been transformed into a vibrant street shopping and food vendors filled the massive long street.

At Jalan Petaling, we aim to bring famous Malaysian street food closer to you. Our menu includes hawker staple such as KL Seafood Hokkien Mee, a slurp of thick noodles coated with glistening dark soy sauce, Fish Head Vermicelli Soup and the Stew Bay Lobster with Vermicelli.

For something light, you can opt for our Hakka Yong Tou Fu with all ingredients prepared in house. Or our Steam Rice Roll with savory Curry Gravy.

As the sunsets, Jalan Petaling serves a range of zi char dishes. The menu encompass Petaling Street traditional hawker favorites that come with a distinct wok hei flavor. Sink your teeth into the all-time favourite, “Kam Heong” Crab, a signature Malaysian stir-fry style that is renowned for the fragrance imparted.

Other dishes includes, the meaty Roasted Duck, well marinated and roasted to golden brown crisp skin. Must have, Signature Assam Curry Fish Head. Served in claypot, the dish is made up of fresh snapper and the spicy flavourful gravy.
