Grace Baptist Church, Singapore 3.72

Grace Baptist Church was founded as a Word-based and Christ centred church for the glory of God in Singapore. We firmly believe that as the Holy Spirit convicts us with the Bible, people are transformed to become more Jesus Christ. To this end, we are called to faithfully teach His Word and apply it in a way that is relevant to the needs of the 21st century. As a church, we are striving towards being an intergenerational community in Singapore that honors God.

In 2002, God gave us a mission statement – "Loving God, Loving Man and Fulfilling His Commission – through prayer and a Bible-centred life-style." In short, we believe that we are called to be a church that loves Him dearly, expressed in the way we love our brothers, sisters and neighbours (through the preaching of the Gospel); pray for our world and grow in the Spirit and the Word.

In 2013, as we look forward to the future, both the English and Chinese congregations of GBC have received a new vision statement, a renewal of what God has called us to do in this generation: "A disciple-making church that transforms lives with the gospel and love of Jesus Christ."
