Firqatul Wannazam 1921 2.39

Firqatul Wannazam was established in 1921 at Geylang Lorong 12 by our Founder, the late Syeikh Ahmad Bin Syeikh Amir.

We are currently based at Marine Parade CC.

The first time we took part in a competition which was held at Singapore Trade Center, we became Champion and our Senior Advisor,Mr Haji Othman Abdul Rahman, won the title ‘Best Khalifah’.

Since then, our reputation grew rapidly and our achievements list kept on growing till today. Our forte is not only Hadrah, but also Kompang.

Because of our great strength in Hadrah and Kompang, we received a high level of respect and admiration by other groups in the local Hadrah & Kompang scene.

With the reformation of this group under the current LEadership Committee, we strive to contribute more in the local Malay performing arts scene and and adopt a more business type approach.
