Cathay Cineleisure Orchard 5.06

Cathay Cineleisure Orchard is an urban mall located at 8 Grange Road, Singapore. The building is managed by Cathay Organisation under its subsidiary company of Cathay Cineleisure International. The mall opened in October 1997 after the previous building, the old Orchard Cinema, was torn down in 1994.This youth lifestyle mall has a mix of food, fashion and leisure tenants which includes a Koufu food court in the basement, and a section of youth-themed shops, eateries and hair salon on the second floor known as L2. The centre has cafes and bistros, and a wide range of food and beverage outlets. It also houses a karaoke lounge on Level 8 and the only indoor trampoline park, Bounce Singapore on Level 9.Cathay Cineplex Cineleisure Orchard operates 12 screens with 6 on Level 4 and 6 on Level 6.The mall runs its own signature events including the Cineleisure Next Online Sensation, All-Babes Cineleisure Dance Battle and Cineleisure Christmas Countdown Parties.The building has won accolades such as the "SIA-ICI Colour Award" for its creative use of colours in its building design. Two of its cinemas were voted Singapore's best screens in a survey conducted by The Straits Times in April 1998. In another survey by Ad Post, readers voted Cathay Cineplex Orchard their "Favourite Cinema in Singapore".
