BirdLife International is the world’s largest nature conservation Partnership. Together we are 120 BirdLife Partners worldwide – one per country – and growing.

We believe that local people, working for nature but connected nationally and internationally through our global Partnership, are key to achieving conservation. We have over 3 million members and volunteers, allowing us to engage and reach out to more than 10 million people around the world.

Our work focuses on biodiversity conservation for people, and birds are excellent indicators for the natural world, as well as being important in their own right. Rigorous science informed by practical feedback from initiatives on the ground in important sites and habitats enables us to implement successful conservation programmes.

We work with and for people - to improve their quality of life alongside, and as a result of, nature conservation. We believe that our actions are providing both practical and sustainable solutions, significantly benefiting nature and people.
