Tolv Kvadrat - Edö Konstgalleri 2.53

Tolv Kvadrat is an attempt at an international gallery with a focus on audiovisual works on the island of Edö in the Stockholm archipelago. A space, that just like any place, is a potential candidate to become the next center of the world.

Exhibitions will be held every summer from Midsummer till mid-August. Admission is free.

Tolv Kvadrat is only reachable by boat. There is a Waxholm ferry leaving at 8:30 from Strömkajen (in front of Grand Hotel in Stockholm) that will take you all the way to Edö. The tour number is 12A. The ride takes you through the beautiful archipelago of Stockholm and takes about two hours. The return trip leaves Edö around 13:00 (but the exact time differs from year to year). If you wish to reach Edö by your own boat, the coordinates are Lat 59° 28' 8'' Long 18° 37' 49''. There is a small dock for boats next to Waxholm's dock on the south side of the island. For larger boats, contact 0709-24 28 74 for instructions. The island is easily reachable from Nässlingen, Svartsö, Ingmarsö, Äpplarö, and Ljusterö, among others. The gallery is open weekdays and weekends 1-30 July but during the weekends only from 24-26 June and in August 2017.
