Sveriges MotorCyklister, SMC, är en ideell organisation med cirka 64 000 medlemmar runt om i Sverige. Organisationen arbetar med alla frågor som rör MC-trafikpolitik både i Sverige och i övriga världen. SMC driver ett intensivt opinionsarbete samt är en informationskälla både för motorcyklister, riksdagspolitiker, EU, Trafikverket, departement, försäkringsbolag samt Polisen, inom allt som rör motorcyklism.
SMC är Sveriges största fortbildare för motorcyklister. Inom SMC School bedrivs kursverksamhet på banor och övningsplatser i hela landet. Inom SMC Travel finns ett resebolag som arrangerar MC-resor i hela världen. SMC Club är avdelningen för evenemang och sociala aktiviteter bland de 400 medlemsklubbarna och 21 distrikten.

Riders for Health är en välgörenhetsorganisation som arbetar för ökad tillgång till transportmedel i drabbade länder i Afrika, med syftet att bidra till sjukvård och transport av medicin. Utan ett fungerande system för transport av läkemedel går alla de miljarder kronor som skänks till vaccin, preventivmedel, medicin osv till spillo. Därför vet vi att ett samarbete med Riders for Health skulle göra skillnad. De samarbetar bl.a. med hälsomyndigheter, internationella organisationer, organisationer inom den privata sektorn och nu också, till vår stora glädje - med oss!

Vi ämnar att, med stöd från Er, inleda ett samarbete med Riders for Health med syftet att kunna donera pengar till de drabbade länderna i Afrika.

Här blir ni uppdaterade om vilka mässor och sociala event vi besöker, vårt dagliga arbete för att driva projektet framåt och naturligtvis hur donationerna kommer att delas ut.

We are four girls from Malmo University who have initiated a charity project with the nonprofit organization Swedish Motorcyclists SMC and Riders for Health.

SMC is an organization with a total of 64,000 members across Sweden. They are working with road safety and are a valued partner for the EU, the Swedish Transport Administration, insurance companies and the Swedish police. The organization works with all issues related to MC-traffic policy both in Sweden and worldwide. SMC is the largest trainers of motorcyclists. Within the SMC School conducted training courses on practice sites throughout the country. SMC Travel is a travel company that arranges motorcycle trips throughout the world. SMC Club is the sections of events and social activities among the 400 member clubs and 21 districts.

Riders for Health is a charity organization working to increase access to transportation in affected countries in Africa, with the aim to contribute to health care and transportation of medicine. Without a functioning system for the transport of drugs all the donated money to vaccines and medicine goes to waste. Therefore, we are certain that working with Riders for Health would make a difference. They cooperate among others with health authorities, international organizations, the private sector and now also, to our great joy - with us!

We intend, with the support from you, to initiate collaboration with Riders for Health with the purpose of being able to donate money to the affected countries in Africa.

On this Facebook-page you will get an update on the exhibitions and social events we visit, our daily work, how the project is progressing and of course where the donations will be placed.
