Details

SAU is a for-profit organisation doing rescue archaeology and osteological analysis. It was started by researchers from the department of archaeology at Uppsala University in 1998. SAU has led excavations of setttlements and burials from the Mesolithic to the Middle Ages all over central Sweden. Our osteologists are analysing remains from excavations done by other firms and museums in Sweden as well as Norway.
