Shotokan Karate has a long history which dates back as far as 520AD and the Japan Karate Association (JKA) is the "Keeper of Karates' highest tradition". Producing the finest and most legendary instructors the JKA maintains the best worldwide standard of karate and this unique brand of Shotokan karate is what all comers will learn within Kazuki Shotokan Klubb.
Head coach Tawanda Marufu is a 4th Dan black belt with over 20 years of training, teaching and competing at the highest level. Not only has Tawanda been an international medalist but he has as an instructor trained students to compete at an international level. Tawanda has extensive experience of coaching all age groups and different levels of experience. He is a strong believer in that karate is a lifetime journey and there is something in it for everyone.
Carrying on the tradition of JKA Shotokan karate is our priority at the Kazuki Shotokan Klubb. To this end, we aim to bring people of all walks of life to a level of equal and mutual enjoyment and benefit including but not limited to authentic JKA Shotokan karate, general health and physical fitness, good mental health and coping skills, friendship and mutual respect for all, education and development for all and opportunities to develop in character as an individual, as part of a community and as an athlete.
