My name is Basem Andijani and I am a fitness fanatic. I was born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in 1990. I appreciate life so much because of the chance of me coming to existence is one in 400 trillion, plus I was born in a caul; Birth with a caul is a rare phenomenon, occurring in fewer than 1 in 80,000 births and In extremely rare cases, the thicker caul encases the infant's entire body, resembling a cocoon and this is how I was born!
Just knowing those facts make me feel extremely special!

I have dedicated my entire life to be an athlete, fitness professional and an entrepreneur because simply I have a vision, a vision of GREATNESS! It is so hard to be a man who sees something but I believe in myself and I believe in my capabilities to reach greatness. I see myself at the top level of my game not because I think I am better than everyone else but because I am connected to the universe! I get my strength from it! Every time when I am facing hardships I zoom out, I zoom out to travel through the Milky Way and out to the endless universe!

My vision in sports is to be an international sports(MMA) and fitness model icon. My achievements in the field of fitness so far are:
- 2013 NABBA NZ National Fitness Model Champion.
- 2013 NABBA NZ South Island Fitness Model Champion.
- 2013 INBA Southern Lakes Natural Classic Fitness Model Champion.
- Member of the NABBA NZ 2014 International Team.

I am extremely fascinated with the universe. I believe in the connection between the universe and I. The kind of connection that makes me feel powerful beyond measure. I believe that we are all participants in the universe’s vast endless expansion process. I believe the universe is IN us!

As a person I hate conformity and I believe in the uniqueness of individuals. I believe I can make a difference in the world by being who I am, by being myself. I don’t look for security because I find it ridiculously stupid to look for security in an insecure life! I listen to my gut feelings and I follow my dreams because I believe they know the way to greatness and that’s where I want to be headed.

I believe in the power of “I AM” and what you attach to it, you become! I create my life in my head because I believe my thoughts shape my reality! I see my life as a journey and I love every second of it. I embrace my difficulties and struggles because I see them as a source of internal growth!

Lastly, I would like to share one the philosophies I live by
“ You’re the creator of your own destiny because you the reflection of your thoughts. You become what you think about so don’t set limits for yourself and get connected to the universe to be as powerful as it is. Don’t worry about life because life is too short and you have already been along way. Take risks and enjoy the ride because nothing substitutes experience” ~ Basem Andijani
