بوتيك مقصورة الحياة – الجودة الفريدة

منذ السبعينات و نحن، اهل القطيف، نحتاج ان نذهب الى الخبر او الدمام و أحيانا نسافر للبحرين او الإمارات لكي نشتري حاجتنا من الملابس و الاكسسوارات ذات الجودة العالية. و كشاب بسيط لم أعط هذه المسألة أي اهتمام . و لكن مع مرور الزمن و زيارتي لكثير من دول العالم (في الغرب و الشرق)، تعرفت على كثير من الماركات العالمية وعرفت معنى الجودة. و ما زال يرن في ذاكرتي قول كانت والدتي رحمها الله تردده، "خذ الزين لو غلاك الدين."

لاني، كما قال عني الكثير، اعشق التسوق، قررت ان اتسوق لأهلي و أحبتي، فبدأت في شراء الكثير من المقتنيات الفنية المشغولة من الكريستال والزجاج و الخشب و السيراميك و الفخار و غيرها أثناء ترحالي. و لا اذكر عدد المرات التي قدمت بعض هذه المقتنيات كهدية باسمي او باسم مجموعة ما، و كنت اسعد كثيرا عندما أرى الكثير يمدحون الاختيار.

بعد ان اخترت التقاعد المبكر من أرامكو، قررت ان اعمل مشروعا، يبدأ بسيطا ثم يكبر شيئا فشيئا بمساندتكم. و لاني احب التسوق، فكرت في افتتاح بوتيك لعرض الكثير من التحف و الهدايا التي تعجبني للبيع. و كنت انوي افتتاح البوتيك قريبا من الظهران، مكان سكني. و لكن و بعد النقاش و التشاور، قررت ان تكون القطيف، مسقط راسي، هي التي تتوج البوتيك و تحتويه. كما جاء القرار ان تكون بضاعة البوتيك شاملة لجميع أفراد العائلة. و كان ذلك سببا في اختيار الاسم و الشعار.

مقصورة الحياة تنبع من فكرة ان أي زائر البوتيك يستطيع ان يرى الكثير من الأشياء التي يقتنيها الإنسان في حياته. أي كان عمر الزائر او ميوله فسيجد في البوتيك ما يمتع ناظريه. الهدف هو ان يشعر الزائر و كأنه في مقصورة تطل على الحياة بجميع مراحلها. كما و انه سيجد كل احتياجاته متوفرة و بأشكال فريدة و ذات جودة عالية و إن كانت الإعداد و المقاسات محدودة.

Since the seventies, we the people of Qatif have had to go to Al-Khobar or Al-Damman and sometimes travel to Bahrain or the UAE to buy the high quality clothes and accessories we need. As a simple young man, I did not pay any attention to this matter. However, as time passed by and I was able to visit many countries (East and West), I became aware of many of the international brands and appreciate the meaning of quality. The wise words my blessed mother used to repeat still ring in my ears; “buy quality even if you were burdened with debt.”

Because I am in love with shopping, as many have said, I decided to shop for my loved ones; family and friends. I started acquiring a lot of arts and craft works made of glass, crystal, wood, china, and others during my travels. I cannot even recall the number of times I gifted some of this possessions either in my name of on behalf of a group. I used to be very elated hearing the appreciation from many for my choices.

After I chose to retire early from Aramco, I decided to do a project which would start small and grow with your support. I decided to open a boutique where I can sell the type of art and craft works I liked. It was my intention to open the boutique near Dhahran, where I live. However, after intense discussions and consultations, I decided that Al-Qatif, my hometown, would have the boutique. A decision was also taken to diversify the boutique’s merchandise to include the whole family. That was then the reason behind the name.

Hayatt (or Life) Mezzanine come from the vision that anyone visiting the boutique would see a lot of the things that a human being would have in life. Despite the age of the visitors, they would find something to captivate their eyes. The objective is for the visitors to feel like they are in a mezzanine box looking at life; all of its stages. The visitors would also find all they might need provided in unique shapes and styles with high quality though the quantity and sizes might be limited.
