Here’s a brief about Anne Fontaine’s creation and her love for the Environment!



- Anne Fontaine Fashion House

It all began in 1993 when Anne Fontaine discovered an old trunk filled with shirts.
Fascinated by fashion, she was inspired!! A white shirt should be the centerpiece of every woman’s wardrobe. Borrowed from a man’s closet. It would be a symbol of today’s woman: modern, active and independent, a woman seeking natural elegance and pleasure.

It could be worn on any occasions, day or evening. It could be accessorized and dressed up or down. Anne boldly threw herself into the venture. She started by designing and inventing a whole world in white, which became colorful later on.
The Anne Fontaine fashion house was born!!




- The Anne Fontaine Foundation

Through fashion and art, the Anne Fontaine Foundation raises awareness and funds for the need to protect forests and to be actively involved in reforestation. Projects are concentrated in the Brazilian Atlantic forest, also known as the Mata Atlântica, which is the most threatened bio diverse forest on earth. They team up local farmers with tree nurseries, thereby giving them extra income and helping to train a more qualified workforce.
The Foundation’s ambition is to fight against everything that is not inevitable; the destruction of the forest is not irreversible.
