Institutul de Terapie Familiala si Practica Sistemica Areopagus 3.87

The Areopagus Institute of Family Therapy and Systemic Practice (AIFT) is accredited by the Romanian College of Psychologists and the Romanian Federation of Psychotherapy to offer training courses in systemic family psychotherapy as well as psychotherapy sessions to individuals, couples and families. The successful completion of a two years intermediate level course allows applicants to obtain the licence of free practice in psychotherapy offered by the Romanian College of Psychologists. The institute is affiliated to the International Family Therapy Association (IFTA) and its trainers, besides their national accreditation, are also members of IFTA, the European Association of Family Therapy (EFTA) and the American Association of Marital and Family Therapy (AAMFT).

Objectives:
- Training and supervision in systemic family psychotherapy through courses offered to professionals and those who would like to learn more about the field of family and couple therapy
- Supervision meetings with nationally and internationally accredited trainers and supervisors
- Group sessions for self-awareness and personal development
- Systemic mediation for health care professionals
- Workshops, colloquia and continuous training courses accredited by the Romanian College of Psychologists and the Romanian Federation of Psychotherapy
- Counselling and psychotherapy individuals wishing to develop self-awareness and enhance their relationships with others
- Therapy with families and couples who experience difficulties in adjusting to a new life stage marked by high stress and conflicts
- Therapy with individuals and families facing emotional and relational difficulties, anxiety, depression, agressivity, substance abuse, trauma, domestic violence or the loss of a dear one
- Clinical research in the field of psychotherapy with the purpose to explore and understand the dynamic of human interactions at the individual, family and societal level
