Bike Resort Sinaia este primul bike resort oficial deservit de o instalaţie de tip telegondolă, deschis in România, fiind administrat de compania Transport Urban Sinaia, companie publică subordonată Consiliului Local Sinaia.
Resort-ul este localizat pe Valea Prahovei, în superba staţiune montană Sinaia, la aproximativ 100 de km distanţă de Bucureşti si aeroportul Otopeni si la doar 60 de km depărtare de unul dintre cele mai frumoase oraşe ale ţării, Braşov.
Sinaia, oraş regal cu o veche tradiţie turistică, se află la poalele munţilor Bucegi, pe domeniul castelului Peleş, într-un decor romantic, parcă desprins din viaţa cotidiană a unui burg german din secolul XIX.
Imediat deasupra oraşului, între Cota 1400 și stația inferioară a Telegondolei Sinaia, veţi descoperi bike resort-ul cu cele patru trasee de downhill si all mountain amenajate, care împreună însumează peste 10 km de single trail şi drum forestier, dar şi toate facilităţile aferente practicării acestor discipline: o modernă instalaţie de telegondolă, harta traseelor, panou cu scule, spaţiu special pentru spălat bicicleta.
Cele patru trail-uri variază ca stil şi grad de dificultate, fiind concepute pentru a fi parcurse de o gamă largă de rideri, având diferite niveluri de experienţă.

Happy Bear este traseul vedetă al bike resort-ului şi în acelaşi timp, unul dintre cele mai cunoscute trasee de downhill din România. Progresiv, solicitant si foarte rapid, Happy Bear a fost până în prezent gazda a patru concursuri naţionale de downhill. Parcursul său măsoară 2,3 km și traversează două etaje forestiere - conifere și foioase, fapt ce contribuie la varietatea suprafeţei de rulare.
Pe acest trail, riderii se pot bucura de sectoare naturale abrupte şi tehnice, unde rock-garden-urile, culoarele cu radăcini, pragurile naturale sau stâncile sunt la ele acasă, dar și de o importantă colecţie de elemente artificiale menite să pluseze la categoria freestyle. Podeţele din lemn, flow-line-ul, kicker-ele, gap-urile, road gap-ul şi drop-urile cu înălţimi de până la 2 metri sunt elementele responsabile cu distracţia.

Old School Trail reprezintă faţeta romantică a bike resort-ului, fiind şi traseul destinat tuturor categoriilor de rideri, de la începători până la cei experimentaţi.
O.S.T măsoară 2.8 km si este compus dintr-un drum forestier traversat de o multitudine de poteci, presărate pe alocuri cu secţiuni abrupte si tehnice.
Putem spune că vechiul drum forestier care coboară de la Cota 1400 spre oraşul Sinaia este coloana vertebrală a traseului, din care se desprind ispititoarele single track-uri naturale.
Old School este tipul de traseu ideal pentru inițierea în tainele mountain biking-ului, graţie faptului că varianta uşoară este o constantă, asigurată prin prezenţa drumului forestier, iar potecile adiacente pot reprezenta paşii următori în deprinderea graduală a tehnicilor de riding.
Drumul si sectoarele uşoare sunt marcate cu săgeţi albastre, variantele mai dificile fiind semnalizate prin săgeţi galbene.

Asa cum o arata si denumirea, Easy Breezy este trail-ul rezervat celor care se afla la prima intalnire cu lumea fascinanta a mountain biking-ului. Continuare a variantei usoare a traseului Old School, Easy Breezy are o lungime de 1.5 km contine doua urcari scurte, traverseaza un parau si strabate trei poieni incantatoare.
Usor de parcurs, pitoresc si relaxant, Easy Breezy poate fi alegerea potrivita pentru copii si incepatori.

Cel mai tanar membru al familiei Bike Resort Sinaia, Fairy Trail, este traseul in care se reflecta cu acuratete originea si spiritul mountain biking-ului. Cotat cu nivel mediu de dificultate, Fairy este un single-track autentic adresat majoritatii pasionatilor de mountain biking.
Natural, feeric si ascuns de ochiul indiscret al curiosilor, Fairy te introduce intr-o lume de basm si iti ofera bucuria de a te distra pe un traseu gravitational, fara a fi restrictionat de dimensiunea suspensiilor bicicletei.

Cu respectul cuvenit pentru mediul înconjurător şi cu multă pasiune pentru mountain biking, Bike Resort Sinaia susţine practicarea sportului în natură şi îşi propune să rămână acelaşi minunat playground dedicat tuturor mountain bike riderilor.

Bike Resort Sinaia is the first Romanian bike resort equipped with a gondola lift installation, being managed by the Transport Urban Sinaia, a public entity subordinated to the Local Council of Sinaia.
The Resort is located in the Prahova Valley, within the breathtaking Sinaia Mountain Resort, at about 100 km from Bucharest and the Otopeni international airport and only 60 km from one of the most beautiful cities in Romania, the City of Braşov.
Sinaia, a royal city with a distinguished touristic history, lies at the foot of the Bucegi Mountains, on the Peles Castle domain, surrounded by a romantic natural scenery.
Right above the city, between the 1400 Elevation Point and the down station of the Gondola, you shall discover our bike resort with the four developed downhill and all mountain tracks that total together over 10 km of trails and forest road, as well as all the amenities related to these disciplines: a modern gondola lift installation, a trails map, a tools panel and a bike-wash stand.
The four trails vary in style and degree of complexity, as they have been conceived in order to be ridden by a various range of riders possessing different levels of skills.

Happy Bear is the V.I.P. trail of the resort and, at the same time, one of the most famous downhill trails in Romania. Happy Bear, a progressive, demanding and fast trail, has been, until now, the host of four national downhill contests. The trail has 2.3 km in length and it passes through two forest levels – pines and broadleaves.
On this trail, riders can enjoy natural steep and technical areas, where rock-gardens, rooty lanes, natural drops or cliffs make up the common scenery, together with a significant collection of artificial elements meant to add value to the freestyle category. The wooden platforms, flow-lines, kickers, gaps, road gaps and up to 6 feet(2 meters) high drops are the entertaining elements of the trail.

The Old SchoolTrail is the romantic side of the bike resort, as it represents, at the same time, the trail that can be covered by all riders, from beginners to advanced riders.
The Old School Trail is 2.8 km long and is made up of a forest road crossed by numerous paths on which a few steep and technical sections are calling for fun.
We reckon that the old forest road that descends from the 1400 Station towards the Sinaia City represents the central axis of the trail from which the beautiful natural single tracks derive.
Old School is the ideal track for introducing yourself into the secrets of mountain-biking, due to the fact that the easy track represents a uniform trail while the adjacent trails can become the next steps into the progressive acquisition of the riding techniques.
The main track and the accessible areas are marked by blue arrows, while the more advanced trails are marked by yellow arrows.

As its name shows, Easy Breezy is the trail recommended for those who are at their first meeting with the fascinating world of mountain biking.
Being a sequel of the easy version of Old School Trail, Easy Breezy has a length of 1.5 kilometers, containing two short ascents, crossing a creek and pervading three enchanting meadows.
Simple to ride, picturesque and relaxing, Easy Breezy can be a suitable choice for children and beginners.

The youngest member of the Bike Resort Sinaia family, Fairy Trail is the track which accurately depicts the origin and spirit of mountain biking.
Rated as a medium trail regarding its degree of difficulty, Fairy is an authentic single-trail addressed to all of the mountain bike enthusiasts
Natural, enchanting and hidden from the inquisitive eyes of the curious people, Fairy Trail introduces you to a fairy tale world, bringing to you the joy of having fun on a gravitational trail.
