Asociatia Historia Viva - Ordinul Dragonilor de Transilvania 2.76

The Order of the Transylvanian Dragons was founded in the spring of 2010, when a handful of students majoring in History, Archaeology, Philology and other connected fields set in mind to popularize the history, material culture, civil and military traditions of medieval Transylvania through activities including historical reenactment, HMB, experimental archaeology and educational activities, all based on a thorough documentation and professional counseling.
After 3 years, in which the group succeeded, step by step and attempt by attempt, to make a name for itself, both national and international through shows, national premiere projects, craft workshops, medieval gastronomy and performances in competitions, a new chapter begun. The Historia Viva Association, a living proof of the maturation of the group on an operational level, became the juridical foundation of The Order Of the Transylvanian Dragons, facilitating our projects regarding the conservation, perpetuation and furtherance of material and non-material heritage, outlining a functional mechanism in which the field of reenactment blends with the financial, juridical, logistical and PR fields. The crowning of its activity, on a short term basis, will be the opening of the first living history park in Romania: The Firiza Medieval Village, near Baia Mare, Maramures County, which will have its grand opening on the 31st of May 2013.

Ordinul Dragonilor de Transilvania s-a fondat in primavara anului 2010, cand o mana de studenti la istorie, arheologie, litere si alte domenii apropiate, si-au propus sa popularizeze istoria, cultura materiala si traditiile civile si militare ale Transilvaniei medievale, prin activitati ce tin de reconstituire istorica, Historical Medieval Battle, arheologie experimentala si activitati educative, avand la baza o documentatie sustinuta si consiliere profesionista.
Dupa trei ani, in care trupa a reusit, pas cu pas, incercare cu incercare, sa-si faca un nume, pe plan national si international, prin spectacole, proiecte in premiera nationala, ateliere mestesugaresti, bucatarie medievala si performantele in competitii, Asociatia Historia Viva, marturie a maturizarii colectivului la nivel operational, capata rolul de cadru juridic pentru Ordinul Dragonilor de Transilvania, facilitand proiectele de conservare, perpetuare si promovare a patrimoniului material si imaterial, conturand un mecanism functional in care domeniul reenactmentului se imbina cu cele financiar, juridic, de logistica si de PR, incununadu-si activitatea, pe termen scurt, cu finalizarea si deschiderea primului parc de istorie vie din Romania: Satul medieval Firiza, langa Baia-Mare, jud. Maramures ce va avea deschiderea oficiala pe data de 31.05.2013.
