O Teatro Municipal do Porto é constituído pelo Teatro Rivoli e Teatro Campo Alegre, dois pólos de uma mesma estrutura que se afirma como uma das ferramentas mais importantes na implementação das políticas culturais definidas pela Câmara Municipal do Porto.

Teatro Municipal do Porto, through its two hubs - Rivoli and Campo Alegre - presents a multidisciplinary programme open to a wide range of latitudes and different kinds of audiences, carrying out the strategy laid by the Culture Department since its reopening in September 2014.
The balance between what is done in this city, what is shown around the country and the international programme that will be shown in Porto, makes this Theatre a venue for discovery and artistic confirmations. It is a place where different approaches are programmed and presented on different scales, from a small dressing room to the under stage, the lobby or different auditoriums.
The Theatre main disciplines are: dance, performance, theatre, thought, cinema, music, literature, exhibitions, puppetry and new circus.
