Somos a Maria Wurst.

A Maria Wurst nasce da amizade entre a Francisca e a Ina: uma portuguesa e uma alemã, uma morena e uma loira. Duas empreendedoras por natureza e sonhadoras por defeito.
Foi a voltar de Freiburg (a quem interesse, a cidade mais ecológica da Alemanha) que o nosso sonho ganhou forma. Mais precisamente, a forma de uma salsicha. "E se trouxéssemos o prato mais típico da Alemanha para Portugal?" Os portugueses são exigentes com o que comem. Querem pratos deliciosos, baratos e de qualidade - e até já se renderam à street food.
Por isso, não fizemos a coisa por menos. O nosso orgulho são as nossas salsichas: feitas à mão por um talhante alemão, com carnes DOP de uma herdade alentejana.
Mas nem só de Wurst vive a Maria. Para acompanhar as salsichas, pegámos em receitas alemãs caseiras e tornámo-las ainda mais deliciosas e saudáveis. E as cervejas são como a Francisca e a Ina: portuguesas e alemãs, morenas e loiras.

We are Maria Wurst.

Maria Wurst is born of the friendship between Francisca and Ina: one is Portuguese, the other is German; one is brunette, the other is blonde. Both are dreamers with a knack for entrepreneurship.
It was on a trip to Freiburg (by the way, the greenest city in Germany) that our dream took shape. More accurately, the shape of a sausage. “What if we brought Germany’s most typical dish to Portugal?” The Portuguese are picky about what they eat. They want delicious, cheap and high quality meals - and have already surrendered to street food.
So we did it, and we did it right. We couldn’t be more proud of our sausages: handmade by a german butcher, using only PDO meat from a farm in Alentejo.
To serve with them, we've taken homemade German recipes and made them even more delicious and healthy. And the beers are just like Francisca and Ina: Portuguese and German, brunettes and blondes.
