Co-working space to connect GB’s Tech community to ensure networking and collaboration in order to maximize the potential of ICT for economic development in GB.

uConnect, is an innovative start-up to bring together young talented entrepreneurs from Gilgit Baltistan in the field of ICT. Gilgit Baltistan, being one of the highest literacy rate areas of Pakistan, has its residents in almost all fields of life across the globe. However the access of digital media and IT innovation is still lacking in the area due to lack of local opportunities and resources for young entrepreneurs. Keeping this in view, we came up with the idea of creating a co-working space where young entrepreneurs from IT background can bring their business ideas into reality.
The idea of the co-working space is not only to provide them a place to sit and work, but also creating an atmosphere of collaboration, networking, sharing and co-creation. We will also be carrying out different trainings, tech talks, IT Innovation and skill building workshops as well as internship programs for students from relevant educational backgrounds.
The place will be a center for digital designers, entrepreneurs and engineers to build their businesses, share innovative ideas, seek guidance and help each other in bringing DIGITAL innovation to the area.
